As vile as this is, I think it's pretty settled law (that even the conservative justices would agree) that the death penalty is inappropriate for rape, even with aggravating factors.

Castration, however, would be a much more fitting/proportionate punishment for rape. Maybe someone can argue that to the S. Ct.

i'm not a bleeding heart liberal, but i am against the death penalty. however, at the same time, i also want to bring back hard prison labour, and take away stupid perks like TV and such for serious crimes like these. bring back the chain gang, i say.

I'm a pretty bleeding heart liberal, but I do support the death penalty in principle. Some people like these deserve to die slowly and terribly for their crimes, none of this lethal injection crap- I'd rather subject them to a den of tigers or something really barbaric.

But I don't support it on the grounds that, well the justice system isn't really fair and a lot of people get mistakenly executed and you can't undo that.

Maybe death penalty is too easy too, it's better to have prisoners working on public works projects and other backburning jobs and for fuckers like these to eventually go crazy after being gang-raped every time they drop the soap.

Rather than jail, I'd like to see black petty criminals sent to rural areas of their state and banned from being in the urban area they did their crimes in.

In that neighborhood people are scared to talk, and the perpetrators were probably well aware of this, or maybe they were so mad/psycho that they didn't care what would happen to them after. They probably felt it was worth going to jail for. It's got me interested in what the backstory is behind this incident and the people involved, both perpetrators and victims. I wonder if they knew each other?

Apparently they didn't, at most some of the boys lived in the same complex but that's it. They were Haitian immigrants so that might've stigmatized them, but I wouldn't say that kind of distinction alone makes people in the ghetto gangrape and force incest

its best if these animals get life. death is much too good for them. its better if they suffer in prison for the rest of their lives, being treated like human toilets daily. i want the worst for them. seriously this is the worst crime that can happen to a human. unfortunately there's no punishment for the criminals that is equal to that of the crime that was committed. unthinkable.
