omg. it's mother hot outside. it really is HOT.
and i normally don't complain about hot weather.

i'm shopping around for air conditioners that are not noisy.
please give me some input. opinions. preferably personal experience. whatever.
i'm doing some research on the net and i keep getting
different information.

right now, we're using wall units in the bedrooms.
it's loud but they're small and we don't spend much time in there
so it's bearable. but we want a quiet one for the living room.

i've looked into split air ACs. i'm finding out that the mini version
don't require a HVAC installer but some sites are telling me i need one.
does anyone have experience with these?

or the floor standing AC (not the portable ones). but i can only find LG products. and some no name brands from mainland china.

are there any really quite wall units?

if any of you have central air, don't even tell me. i hate you.

anyway, any input or personal advice would be wonderful.

Meena, I hate our central air. It's loud and it only works when the temperature is set at like, 60 degrees so it blows directly on me and makes my nose run. We have to turn our TV volume way the hell up so we can hear over the loud noise. It's awful.

hahahaha. kim. thanks.

it's not so hot today so i don't feel so desperate or
rushed for an AC in the living room now.

would be the fillm on the windows.
i'll be checking that out at home depot during the
weekend. thanks!!
