Just when Duke was trying to recover from the Lacrosse rape scandal, 34, count 34 MBA students were found guilty of cheating. Nine of the students face expulsion, 15 are suspended for one year, and the rest will receive failing grades on the course.
and to make matters worse, most of these were reportedely Asian international students (from Taiwan, Korea, etc.).

In light of all the accomplishments and the model minority stereotypes that Asians are associated with, this year, 2007, has been a scandalous year for Asians and Asian Americans. To recap:
Joseph Cho, a UPenn law student, was charged with several felony counts after trying to shoot two Indian students.
Kenneth Eng was fired from AsiaWeek after his racist rants. He also takes credit for "inspiring" Seung-hui Cho to go on his shooting spree.
Seung Hui Cho, we all know what he did.
Anand Jon, celebrity fashion designer, faces several charges of sexual assault.
Allen Lee was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct (in addition to being discharged from the Marines) after writing about his school shooting fantasies.
Three Asian American students at the University of Virginia were charged with brandishing firearms (though it was only a BB gun).
Zao Xing Yang, a USC student has been charged with making criminal threats and assault at a party.
Granted, a lot of what these people did (like Allen Lee and the UVa students) was simply poor judgment and do not deserve to be branded as criminals, but 2007 is turning out to be a pretty disappointing year for Asian American representation. Just when people like Yul Kwon helped to show that Asians can be both nerdy and hunky (the Asian McDreamy), people like Kenneth Eng had to screw things up.
