Well, I met a manager at another Gamestop store. His name was Jon, black guy with dreds. My old manager who was transfered to his store and said he was Anti America. I am pretty much for my country. So I met him. He played Tekken 4 in Japan, made all this money . . . blah blah. So we are talking and he basically said "the US is shit, Japan is sweet". So I am like okay, so we got on my girlfriend. He wanted to know what Nationality was my g/f after he found out she was asian. I was like "Vietnamese, why?". And what was his reply, not the normal asiaphile reply "man I want one" or "lucky bastard", it was, "damn you lucked out Japanese chicks are so much hotter". He has not seen my g/f. So I am like, YOU PIECE of SHIT, to myself. So I go back to debating with him. It got nowhere, because him and politics are complete opposites.

I don't know did I over react. What is up with people and Japanese culture. I hate culture huggers. DIE!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate to admit it but it goes both ways. i've met japanese "culture-huggers" as well as those who "hugged" onto japanese culture.

I just shrug my head when i hear about those guys.

I think, I was more upset about what he said about my g/f. I think my girlfriend is a gorgeous, in and out. He made the US seem like the worst thing next to hell. Like I like games and anime and such, but I know what is to far and this guy goes to far. Anything American, he hates. It is really sickening.

Sounds like he has an ID problem, he wants to be something that he's not. Instead of just being. I could go off on a tangent about this guy. But I don't want to cause a scene, at least not yet. In short, the guys an ass!

LoL. I thought the one in my favorite mall was just an exception. I guess people don't notice that Sakio Japan and China Max share the same workers. LoL.

living there is not as expensive as you think, an apartment there is cheaper than an apt in SF or NYC. The cost of living is more or less the same as it is in NY. Job market sucks like the rest of the world though.
