Urr, thought I may as well post my 48 hours film which I did a couple of weekends ago as part of the annual 48 hours film competition here in NZ. Over 400 teams participated and within Auckland alone, 160 teams entered.
Those unfamiliar with the competition: We are given a genre and 3 elements to work with starting 7pm on Friday and we have 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a film by 7pm Sunday.
We got HORROR and the 3 elements:
1. Robin Slade, an eternal optimist
2. "That's what I'm talking about."
3. A mirror.
We didn't get into the finals which Peter Jackson is judging but we sure had a lot of fun and madness. With my film, I wrote, shot, edited and delivered; was severly deprived of sleep!
Take a look and see whether you can spot the film references.
