One of my friends loves getting hickies on her neck. Personally, I've never had one, so I don't know, but she says they feel really good. What do you think of them? Do you agree that they feel good? How do you cover up the token purple bruise it leaves? Or don't you? ;)

I always thought that hickies were those purple bruise things. If not, then I answered the poll question wrong. Oops. *shrugs* But it does feel good when a guy sucks and kisses your neck though. (Hmm, "sucks your neck" sounds funny.) I enjoy it. Haven't received any of those bruises. I've given some though.
Mosquitos. Vacuum. Broken capillaries. Turtlenecks.

I told you it sounds weird. I didn't know how else to word it. But now that you mention it, I do have this thing for vampires. ;) Vampires that run more along the line of... Dracula 2000 (not Dracula in particular) or Queen Of The Damned. Let's just say the ones who don't morph their face when they're about to feed. *laughs* Woops... I've said too much already.

She likes the way they feel? Hmmm...never gave 'em much thought. I do know that you should check yourself carefully before going into work -- a huge hickey on your forehead looks kinda ghetto.
If they're done right, there's a nice feeling of sharp biting pain (teeth) and dull pressure pain (sucking) at the same time. If it's painful enough sometimes you can get an adrenaline rush. I have to admit I suck at it (argh no pun intended), but I've been on the receiving end. I do like them but they're very inconvenient. I usually ask that they be done on my shoulders, chest, or someplace not normally exposed. I can't really add any more solutions... I've worn turtlenecks (not unusual in the winter here), and borrowed some of my sister's concealer.

my ex tried to give me a hickie. it was so funny because he looked as though he was going to have an asthma attack. overall, i think they're pointless. I'd do it just for the hell of it...but it really doesn't do much for me...*shrug*

Neck sucking feels good. Hickies, however, are LAME and TACKY.

true... but they do not always have to be on your neck...
though people walking around with them on their necks can look a little foolish, especially if they sport it around like some stupid trophy.
Getting hickies in places other than the neck is incredible (easier to conceal too).

haha i love hickies :D...giving and recieving...although i dont necessarily stick to the neck...it feels awesome when theres a little nibbling involved. i like giving hickies on guys just cause i get a kick out of their embarassment the next day when their friends make fun of them >=), actually i like giving em when the guy looks like he's enjoying it too. oh i like sucking on the area around the guy's belly button..just to tease...heh heh... i live to please :P

Yes, but you can suck neck without leaving a hickey. So... yeah. Hickies are dumb. I get them sometimes on accident, but I don't go out trying to get one.

Don't hickies stem from our primal nature? Male baboons give bite marks to females to mark them as their "property". Maybe we do the same?
Oh hell, I should just stop watching dumb nature programs in general.
Like recieving and giving hickies, but only when I'm "into" it. I never go out of my way to actually give or get one on purpose. I mean it looks like I have a rash or something.. yeech.

Hickies anywhere visible suck (hehehe, no pun intended).
Don't like em, they show you as marked, therefore taken, therefore unavailible, therefore = man it's hard to get poon with this stupid as blot clot on my neck.
Not so fond of them because they're a pain to hide at work. "Why are you wearing a turtleneck when it's 98% outside?" - Boss.

Wait tell he starts sucking and kissing your cooch and then you'll want him to suck and kiss that part of your body more than your neck. And, are you attractive?

Yeah, gotta say I have not been too fond of some of his comments either. Freedom of speech and all, but use some common sense and responsibility. Don't try to deliberately be offensive to piss people off for your enjoyment.
I don't think anyone wants to start being paranoid about their postings so let's try not correct each other on spelling and syntax.
