First of all thank you so very much for your time and concern in helping me resolve my heart breaking situation. I bought a 1984 Honda Magna V30 with a VF 500cc motor. My situation is that I was riding my bike and I noticed that one side of the motor stopped firing. I headed back home and the motor started running rougher and rougher. I had the throttle wide open and my bike was slowly going. I noticed also that my tach would drop off then max out. My fuel light came on but I just filled up. After I parked it , I tried to crank it again, but I came to find, that I have no power anywhere. No lights, no fan, no gauge lights, not the first sound of starting. All my fuses fine and I have a new battery. So might you have an idea of what the problem is.
