This is approximately an 18 by 12 inch reproduction in pencils of what was originally an 18 by 12 cm advert in a magazine. Unfortunately, the pencils have faded over time. The last parts of it were finished about 3 years ago during my last year in highschool, so you can imagine...
If you look closely, the right-hand third (plus the coloured square) of the drawing is more pronounced than the rest. I guess it's a little bit of evolution...hahaha...because I started this piece when I was in gr.11...and kind of slowly worked my way across the page...because I was a little lazy. I mean, I'd work on it for a few monthes, get bored...pick it up next summer, work on it for another couple months...and so on.
Oh, about the coloured square...I think the whole point of the original ad is that it's supposed to be a contrast of old and new. The new Mustang being the part in the square, the rest of it being the old.
