Doing a live music gig tomorrow night!

Hi everyone!

Sort of a last minute e-mail to everyone for a live music performance I'll be helping out in tomorrow night in West Los Angeles. But yeah, I'll be the piano player for a makeshift band my friend Kaoru aka K-Lu got together. There will be 4 other bands (I think) that will be performing as well. If I remember correctly the music will be a mix of Japanese and English (at least for us!). Please note that I will not be doing any vocals, but I'm mainly a piano player there. But it is a live performance and our lead vocalist has a wonderful voice as some of you may remember from one of our previous performances.

There is an admission fee being charged at $5 a person. But you'll be treated out to some really great live music which is a mix of rock, folk, and contemporary beats. So here's the info:

You can park in the Ross underground parking lot for free, then walk down Westwood Blvd towards Santa Monica and you'll see Rooms Cafe tucked away next to an Indian Restaurant. UPDATE!
Just found out, the music performances start at 7pm...but our particular band starts at 8pm. And the prices of the tickets are $6 at the door, $5 advance sales (contact me if interested). Oh, and if my voice improves (I have a slight cough at the moment) then I might do one of my songs too. :wink:

Hehe, did ya stopped by? :wink: Anyhoo, it was pretty good. Just got back. I was able to debut a new song I finished a few months ago but never had a chance to play it since I've been so busy. I was a wee bit rusty, but had a great time overall. May do it again in June after my trip. :smile:

Ah, our band was probably in Ramayani by then (late dinner). Hehe, guess you caught part of the last band's act. It's all good. I'll post up again if we do another gig. Maybe in June. But thanks for you and your gf for stopping by nonetheless. :smile:
