Same here.

I hear it's an awsome game, but you need a fast computer to run it good.

This looks like one of those games I'll end up getting a year behind everyone else.

It's good. I got it the day it came out. I bought my computer a year ago and isn't superfast or made for gaming. It runs better if I exit everything first, but I ran it yesterday with emule running and did not have any problems. It will slow down and get the little hourglass, but the game stops at those points so it doesn't affect the gameplay (it's normal.)

Now I am waiting for it to be hacked, so I can adultify it like the old version :)

There is enough stuff on it to keep you busy for a few days though. The game play is pretty much the same except the graphics are much better and they have added this aspiration thing where you have to get points to keep them happy/good mood and can use those points to buy special stuff (you hit a want you get points, you hit a fear you lose points.) The wants fears roll like a slot machine whenever you hit one, so they're constantly changing. Like I'm playing this guy whose aspiration is romance and he is a total dog. His wants are to have sex with first 3 sims, 5, now 10, or sex in public, etc.

Oh, and you can get your sims pregnant and they also get old and die.

You can build more levels to the house now, like four, I think. They have some new types of stairs, but no more of the twisty kind (I'm sure those will show up in an expansion pack.) The basic stuff is the same, excpet they've made it so you can edit it somehow. I have experimented with it yet because I'm too busy getting this guy to impregnate the entire simhood ;)

Four floors sound cool, but how many Sim-minutes will it take a sim to walk down all of those flights?

Doesn't take them too long

I miss the Sims... had to get rid of it. Took up so much space. :frown:

I got it as a get-well-soon present. Not much to do if one can't run around doing stuff.

I really like the new house building tools. The ability to customise roofs is the best part. Now my houses look realistic.
