summer job

ok so i'm looking for a summer job to help fund my expensive nerd lifestyle. i have class from 11am-6pm, m-f and i don't have a car. i've already applied for jobs at local(westwood) restaurants and all. but i was wondering if you guys knew of any bars/nightclubs hiring... or know of ppl who work at bars/nightclubs. i don't go out often so i'm oblivious as to where all the late night hip spots are. i'm 21 y/o, have plenty of waitressing experience, and sorta decent looking. any help will be greatly appreciated.

w/out a car, isn't anything outside of westwood a toughie? u could take the big blue bus to santa monica/venice or um, other places (i dunno where else it goes)...but i dunno how safe is the bus at night. i met my share of crazies on the BBB.

westwood is in california. a neighborhood in LA.
