some of my white colleagues really remind me sometimes why all my friends in this area are Asian - not that they can't discriminate either, but it happens much less often.
one of my white colleagues was talking on the phone with an Indian guy about a job and apparently, the Indian guy had a really thick accent and my colleague can barely understand him. so he gets off the phone and starts complaining about the guy's accent. and at first i didn't think anything of it, because quite frankly, it's happened to me, too. i've talked to people with very thick accents and i can barely understand them. but then he said something like "it's like talking to Abu from the Quickie Mart."
i was thinking - what the fuck? so i said, "why? are you interviewing for the Quickie Mart?"

then he was trying to explain the Indian association with the Quickie Mart, thinking that i didn't understand what he said. i guess he thought i didn't get it, but really, it's him that didn't get it. what a dumbass.
