Vegas is never inexpensive. unless you sit on the sidelines and watch everyone else have fun. b/c even if you can get a nice room for a decent price, you still have to go clubbing, watch shows, eat at the buffets, and gamble. otherwise, why visit Vegas, right? and i don't have money to do all that right now :(

I dunno about Catalina. I just remember driving a golf cart around and looking at stuff for a day.

Inexpensive...hmm...well, I'd say NYC, fly JetBlue for 100 bucks each way and you could crash at my place...but that's my moving weekend.

Catalina is actually really fun if you like to do naturely stuff like go biking or just relax with a beer.

bastards ... I get a grand total of one public holiday in May-June, and it's on a Wednesday. WTF is he use of that?

Not to mention we don't get an extra day off for Christmas here cuz it falls on a Saturday this year. Same with New Year's.

No such thing as a Memorial Day weekend here. :sad: But once I'm done exams I have two weeks off before summer school. You know what? YW should have a "backpack across Europe" holiday. :biggrin:
