First Annual Women Of Color Mixed H/E/R (Heritage, Ethnicity, Race) Conference Visibility and Voice WOC Mixed h/e/r conference committee invites proposals of papers, panels, round tables, forums, art/performance works and workshops on the theme
of

VISIBILITY AND VOICE We have chosen this theme as a way to address and provoke discussion on essential and often under represented issues concerning women's diasporically constructed identities and experiences from the local to the global. It is our aim to recognize, examine and celebrate these experiences in academic, community, artistic and
spiritual discourse.

At the first annual conference in Albuquerque on March 26 & 27, 2004, we will engage, dialogue and acknowledge the complexity of our identities
as women of color mixed h/e/r, from all age groups. We welcome proposals
