Maraschino (sp?) cherries are fun to eat from the bottom of a glass of whiskey.

Noooooo, strawberries are gender equal :)

(I hope)actually, most friuts are girly...they contain the seeds that give life to new plants.

the only fruits that are neuter are seedless fruits eg) grapes...

Papayas are rich in nutrients. Of course, they take a little work before you can eat 'em.

You have to cut them open, scoop out the seeds and goo that look like barf, then fill them with yogurt and granola.

Mangos are yummy, as well; however, I'm alergic to them. :frown:

wow, you have star fruit and jackfruit trees?! that trumps all other fruit trees, imo! except maybe lychee and mango trees.

and those dried strawberries at nasa...are they like the Special K cereal with the dried strawberries in them? i've always wanted to try some of the other dried "space foods", like the dried ice cream.

the best strawberries i've ever had were these read and white ones. they looked really sour, because of the whiteness, but the seller (this was at the farmers market) promised that they were supersweet, and they were. i haven't had strawberries that sweet, since then.

bad feet smell.

The have a workout room smell to them. Oddly enough, it was only after my first trip to my high school workout room that pawpaws started to make me sick.

Ick!

I still have papaya drinks, which don't smell too bad and taste fine to me, but I can't just open a papaya and eat it.

Weird.

Any tamarind fans?

Tamarind is on my list next to succulent hairy mangos and juicy sugar covered strawberries.

Yum!

Filipinos do that, too!

It’s the best.

Do Filipinos tend to add pepper?

The times I’ve had them from Mexican stores, they were nasty. Few of the only nasty tamarind I’ve had.
