my favorite would be nbc seafood in monterey park. there's also empress pavilion in los angeles. harbor seafood in monterey park. sam woo seafood in san gabriel. i guess there's a bunch down here.
up in the bay area, there's new asia in s.f. chinatown. also mirawa. harbor village in embarcadero. east ocean in emeryville. in oakland, there's silver dragon, peony, and jade villa.
Koi Palace in Daly City. Also this other one in Milpitas, that's good and insanely cheap. I'll come back with the name when I ask my family. I think Harbor Village is overpriced for the choices they offer, personally.
NBC Seafood in MP. My mom likes that place too. She brought me back a business card from there when she went once. It sat in my purse for almost a year, so I recognize the name very well. :p
I went to one in LA's Chinatown a bunch of times. I can't remember the name, but it's a 'jow lau' type, huge, like Mirawa. Sorry about the horrible cantonese translation. It's not on Broadway, but the street behind it, i think.

There's a restaurant in Canary Wharf in London called Golden ... or Iron ... Buddha ... or something ... best fung gor dishes (spelt that phonetically, probably wrong), very delicate/thin wraps, fresh ingredients, innovative varieties. New World restaurant in London's Chinatown has the widest selection of dim sum dishes, and is probably the best known, but that establishment has gone seriously down hill in recent years. Pure tourist trap.

The best to be had in Vancouver is the Imperial Chinese Seafood Restaurant. There's also Victoria Seafood Restaurant, and Sun Sui Wah, which are OK but the quality can't beat Imperial.
