Action LA is proud to announce that on August 18th we will be sponsoring a music, teach-in, cultural festival where the youth activist and immigrant worker communities of the MacArthur Park/Pico Union/Koreatown/Echo Park area are invited to participate. They will join hand-in-hand to express solidarity with each other's struggles, such as: immigrant rights, sweatshops, police brutality, schools not jails, and affordable housing. We will declare: Youth & Immigrants United, We Will Never Be Defeated!!!!!! The festival includes music performance, spoken word, workshops, art exhibits, community cooking, and tabling.
