I agree with the first two, but disagree with rest of them.

I don't want a trophy wife. As long as I find her attractive, that's all I want. I could care less what people say, in fact I'd rather have her follow her own image of beauty rather than society's image of beauty, even if people don't like it. Anyways, I'd rather have somebody look at us and say, "Wow... I wish I could been in a relationship like that, they seem perfect for each other" rather than, "Damn, look at that guy's wife. She is so friggin' hot... total trophy wife. I bet she's like half his age and half his IQ... and fucking him for the money." Save up the trophy wife money for a trophy sportscar =)

She doesn't need to be PhD smart, but I don't want a bimbo. What she does is totally up to her- if she wants to stay home and raise the kids, that's cool. If she wants to work, then that's fine with her... as long as she remembers to spend time with the family. Family is important.

I'd add one more thing...
- she has to be faithful and in the marriage for the right reason.

LOL, I been calling my wife of 11 years my trophy wife just this month. She's quite flattered LOL. (She looks great, just like when she was 18 which is not bad after 3 kids.)

I'd also add a good partner complimenting my weaknesses with her strengths. And does the chores I hate to do :D

I agree w/ SA above. Looks aren't that important in a wife, although i would like to have at least one hot trophy gf just so i can nya nya nya nya nya to all my skeptical friends ;). The first 2 are mutual-- if she's a companion for me, I should be a companion for her. If she's a good mother, I should also be a good father. Children aren't an ego trip.

As for income potential-- I don't mean to be a sexist, but I heard a successful woman is often discontent w/ an equally successful or less successful man-- so that's a double-edged sword. it's hard to tell if that's really good or really bad.

So the most important things are a sense of duty and a sense of loyalty. I would, of course, have to feel the samw toward her. If that's the case, then high income potential would more likely be a good thing than a bad thing.

I wouldn't mind sharing household chores, although given my clumsiness, it would probably be more efficient for her to do those.

In case anyone didn't get it, I call my wife a trophy wife as a compliment because she looks great. Now if I made alot of money, people might actually believe that. :D

Trophy wives are the ones rich people marry after divorcing the first wife who had the kids and helped the husband get rich inthe first place. It sucks I know but she usually gets a huge divorce settlement.

True story, former CEO of Conseco divorced his wife to marry a girl like 30 years his junior.
