And if you're one of them, you suck too.

If you go to your older sister and ask for some advice and your older sister tells you not to do it and then you go out and do the very thing your older sister told you explicitly not to do because the consequences are bad, then don't go running to your older sister crying and complaining because now you have those bad consequences coming at you.

This reminds me of when my youngest sister was still small. She would do everything you told her not to do. For some reason she loved picking things from the ground...I would say hey where did this candy come from? "I found it out side!". I am happy those days are over.

I was quite happy when i finally moved out and all that crap fell on the next brother's shoulders. He learned fast what it was like.

me and my sister... were approximately the same age... i'm 31... and she's 32... ALTHO our maturity level is VASTLY different... theres no guess work- i'm perceived as a lot younger, while she's perceived as a lot older than i am...
but i really could give a fuck if she's older, maturer, more experienced, wiser, and is more responsible than i am, etc...

i'm a full grown adult...
i live my life the way i want...

and as an older sister to my brother...
i dont feel any sorta added responsibility towards him...

i usually listen to my brother, but he doesnt preach to me lately cuz im too old anyway

I'm glad I'm the only child.

I've seen so many sibling fights in my years that I'm now thinking to myself, I must be lucky in some sort of way :D

Although it does get lonely...but that's where friends come in whew.
