2) The paaksiw na lechon (sliced pork with liver sauce and spice) at Dragonfly in the West Village. I can't fucking stop eating that shit. Also the five-dollar falafel platters at Bereket in the Lower East Side, the pari-pari gyoza at Hizen on the Upper East, the menatiko spaghetti at Typhoon on St. Marks, sul long tang at Gam Mee Ok in Little Korea, hiyashi chuuka at Sapporo (summertime only), jan jan dofu at Riki in midtown, shabu-shabu at Shabu Tatsu, cheese & meat plate with wine at Veloce, the sushi sets at Sushi Seki and possibly damn near everything at Dok Suni's.

3) Underworld. I am now just realizing that this movie was, despite its flaws, very entertaining and incredibly sexy. I think it's because of all the water, costume design and smooth, shifting physicalities. Since seeing it, I've had these vivid dreams influenced by it. It's energized my creative muscles and I can't stop thinking about that shit.

4) The cool post-summer weather that tries oh-so valiantly to cling to the last vestiges of warmth before succumbing to the cold. You can smell it in the air at night (if you can remove yourself from the SUV exhaust fumes) and its incredibly romantic and sexy. It's charging my senses and I can't stop feeling this shit.

5) The new aluminum 15" Powerbook. Although I preferred the titanium metal, this one has improved on the original design and has justified my reluctance to hold off on getting a new laptop. Can't wait to get that shit.

6) Ladies still showing off legs, shoulders, backs and freckly chests in summer dresses while it's still reasonably temperate to do so. Love you, just love you.
