I didn't subscribe to any forums, but every time someone replies to a forum i posted in, i get all these messages saying that they did.

That's annoying.. can i mass unsubscribe?

It's in your User CP. Click on the button at the top of the page, then click 'Options', then scroll down a little to 'Messaging and Notification'.

Also, when you respond to a thread, make sure the "Thread Subscription" box is properly specified.

By default it's "Instant notification by email."

Is there a way to change that default? Kind of a hassle to keep going back to the User CP to change the stuff if I forget to change the thread subscription in the post.
