how much of your personality, behaviours, habits, etc, do you think is more similar to people in Asia than they are to Americans? i know that many American-born and 1.5 genners can be very much more so American than Asian, culturally speaking. but i also know that it's possible for American-born Asians to be fobby, if they are always in an ethnic enclave, and hang out with other fobby people. i personally know an ABC who happens to be very fobby, and i know a Taiwanese guy who moved to LA when he was 11, and says that he didn't really know how to speak much English until his senior year in college.
