you're kidding right? ok i've never dated a girl who was all looks and no brains, but i'd like to think that to make it past 2 or 3 months, she'd need to have something upstairs. it can get really boring if you can't hold a decent conversation with the girl.

honestly, christy chung? if i met a girl like her i'd probably be smitten by her looks, but i'm not sure i'd want a relationship with a girl like that.

All guys would agree that getting laid with a HOT HOT chick is great regardless of the fact that she has no brains. Then again, because a relationship is more than just getting laid, I'd say a HOT chick with brains would do. Err? B)

Gong Li, Maggie Cheung all are hotties and look off the hook for their age. But they kinda old for me. Kinda makes me think about Hee Sun Kim now, wonder if she had plastic surgery done. Not that it matters to me anyways.

Hee Sun Kim was a Korean tv actress. I remember watching a soap opera of hers with my Korean ex-gf. When I walked in and she was on, I was kinda mesmerized. I watched all the episodes in Korean with her, not knowing a damn thing what they were saying. Wow, looking back and thinking about it now, I was the weakest :unsure:

well i don't know, there are actually tons of girls i can mention if we're just going by looks. but for me, faye wong and maggie cheung have a kind of sexy that most women don't have. both are older than me. :P

that's hsu qi. she has an english name? her acting is alright. some are good and some aren't that great. apparently there are plenty of "serious" filmmakers who think that she's talented because she has done a number of non-commercially minded films. you should check out Beijing Rocks. i don't know if it was really her singing, but her character sung a punk version of a teresa teng song. i thought it was very cool. plus the movie also stars your favorite male of all time. :)

also, she's going to be in a hollywood film. i wrote a little about it in another thread.

i know they are both taiwanese and they were both in softcore porn. but i don't know about their backgrounds. there have been other ex-porn stars who have "made it" in non-porn entertainment, but i think hsu qi has been the most successful in doing that. she even manages to not get typecasted alot of times. now that is quite a feat for an actress in the chinese speaking movie industry. ang lee originally wanted her to play zhang ziyi's character in CTHD, but she thought it was too physically strenuous and recommended ziyi to ang lee for the role.

i'm pretty sure that it was Hsu Qi that referred Ziyi to Ang Lee, but i'm not 100% sure. and i don't think you should believe all that gossip about Ziyi dating Zhang Yimou and Jacky Chan. not sure how that Jacky Chan thing came about but the Zhang Yimou thing came about because Zhang Yimou had a long and very public affair (he was married back then) with Gong Li during the years of their team-up. everybody thought that Zhang Yimou was picking the next Gong Li when he picked up Ziyi for The Road Home (her first film).

so how did Hsu Qi look in real life compared to how she looks on-screen?

Yeah ur probably right. I don't follow that stuff too much. But, for some reason I am almost positive that Jacky Chan and Zhang Ziyi dated or are dating. I remember reading it in the World Journal or Ming Bao newspaper. As to the veracity of this, I don't know. The Ziyi and Zhang Yimou seems far fetched, I guess it all started with Ziyi's similiarities to Gong Li.

As to Hsu Chi, she looked good, but like I said she never really floated my boat. But, Andy and Ekin were cool.

Yeah true, but I don't see any reason to believe or not to believe they dated or are dating. And any reason to believe or not to believe, I just find it entertaining. I mean it doesn't affect my life in any way. It is what it is, celebrity entertainment. Whether Jacky is banging her or not, has no impact on my life. But whether it's true or not, who knows.

And you're right it was a rumor. My uncle called me to confirm his flight to NY. He said Ziyi came out on the Tapei Times and denied the relationship and basically slammed the media for spreading the rumors.
