i would try to convert her back to satiate my fragile male ego.
prolly pull something like the debeers diamond commerical. bring her to a public area with lots of people and scream at the top of my lungs:
I LOVE THIS WOMAN
that'll crush any affinity she has for licking the clam, present or future.
if that doesn't work: i'll just do the honorable male thing and cry out, "whhhhhhhhy don't you love me anymore?!?!?!?" at the same time grabbing onto her leg crying, begging and pleading for her to come back to me.

I wold be crushed if i was really head over heels for the girl...
but if she really was, than i can't make her deny who she is.
Also, FYI I believe gay/lesbian people are born homosexual. Yeah, they can discover or admit to themsleves later in life, but they have always been that way. I know many people who "chosen" that lifestyle, but it is more out of personal frustration and a host of other issues.

I know a lot of cute lesbians. I'm not talking about these gay/bi-till-gradutation dilletantes either. I'm talking about genuine rug-munching carpetbaggers. Many live up to stereotype, but a good number of them don't.

I would feel sad.
As someone said already, it's funny how folks kinda automatically default to girls who transform from straight to bi and lesbian. Of course, we get some straight guys make a lot of objectification and commodification of women and basically stating that the biggest issue is sex. If that's the typical mindset of some straight guys, then I wouldn't really be too shocked of girls who are turned off by guys like that.
My biggest question about be about family. Someone talked about parents questioning/realizing their sexualities, which is perhaps more pertinent than if a girl was to be a "dedicated carpetmuncher".
Anyways, what happens when you have a gay, bi, or lesbian person suddenly decide that they were straight? I'd like to hear something about that... <_<

I had a lesbian friend decide she was bi, but it wasn't like an all-of-a-sudden thing (which is why this thread doesn't make much sense to me)... she started feeling 'strangely attracted' to some of my guy friends and then some of her male co-workers but was in denial for a really long time. Eventually, after she found herself flirting with them, she realized that she was bi... no biggie really because she had done the denial thing so long that we all knew it before she did.

if the love of my life turned gay, i would be disappointed b/c he would be the love of my life. i wouldn't be extremely happy for him or anything. perhaps happy only to the extent that he is comfortable enough to come to terms with his own sexual identity. strange question.

btw...in the lesbian world, all women are gay? and all straight girls can be tempted. so gays, watch out! ok...i'm just playing.
on the more serious note, i have some friends that are going thru this. great couple...beautiful ppl. but she's gay. it hasn't been easy for her, him or their friends. it's hard to accept giving up a "perfect" (cuz there is no such thing) relationship to be true to yourself. and i believe she's having a harder time than he is. it's hard enough dealing with the whole societal issue but to hurt someone you love dearly is painful as well.

i would like to consider myself straight too... but a straight person who was brought into the closet when my mother came out of it... i take a keen interest in this particular forum... and to say that i should just sit back, listen, and learn... i think is kinda unfair... i think my contribution should be seen as equally important... i'm just coming from a different perspective... a different slant on things...
