Jay Leno a racist

I use to watch Leno's Saturday Night shows during the weekends.

Last year, he mocked the S Korean ice skater who participated in the Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was disqualified because Ohno from the US cut over and tripped the Korean skater.

Well, Jay Leno mocked the Korean skater and said that he got mad, picked up a dog, kicked it and ate it. Of course, this is ignorant of what Leno said because not all Koreans eat dogs....only a small percentage.

Then again, my friend said that Leno mocked N Korea's communist government, and said that the starving folks in N Korea ought to eat dogs.

How much bullsh-t do we have to hear from this moon-shaped mother f-cker!??

I wrote a letter to NBC a month ago in regards to Leno's remarks. I heard two weeks ago that he would switch places with Katie Curic. I thought that it was due to Leno's comments. But no...it was only for a day.

Then, that dumbf-ck Leno has to invite Brooks to his show, and Brooks made fun of SARS infecting many Chinese and Taiwanese folks.

Man, why do these Jews think they could mock Asians? It's not like I am not in the mood to gas these queer bags if they say another hateful thing to the AA community.

So are you saying that all jews are racist and put down minorities? Jay Leno may be jewish, and holds a lot of power in terms of giving people what they want. And the tone in America now is that of ignorance. Seriously, in the Clinton years, his racist jokes were toned down. I agree that it's on the rise. But it's not only him. Conan O'Brian has tons of racist jokes on Asians. But is he a jew? I think not. It's the tone of Hollywood, and it's also political. The networks has the ability to cut out these jokes at any time they wish. But they don't. I wouldn't call it a joint jewish effort to put down asians. You might say otherwise, but then again... what tone of an arguement would that be?

Besides... NBC has been commonly coined - "nothing but caucasians". I blame NBC for letting them continue on with the jokes. I would blame the media. I WOULD NOT blame jews. That's like blaming all Muslims that they caused 9/11. Not all of them did. Get over it.

Why am I here? I do care about the AA community. But I believe that you should take care not to group people together. Otherwise we ourselves are hypocrites by judging others, and claiming things about them, whereas ourselves believe we're above it all. That's bullshit.

However, I have met many Jewish krackers like a guy at my workplace, including one of my former professors, who really looked down on Asians.

He would also make TONS of jokes towards Asians, espeically the SARS problem that's been going on in China. He also tends to have a grudge against japanese businessmen, because of course,...he sucks compared to Japanese businessmen. :lol:

Off topic, but your reccolection of the event is wrong.

The event you are talking about is when Ohno won the silver after An Hyun Su lost control and took out the 4 leading people and the australian guy in the back crossed the finish line first, while Ohno crawled across the line.

Ahn lost control because he was pushed in the leg by a chinese skater, Li Zhaozhun.

Because of Li's action, Ahn had to increase his speed to keep balance. This caused him to collide with Ohno's arm. Which was outstretched because of the hi speed turn. As Ohno was in the lead, he probably had no idea where Ahn was, so you cannot blame him for anything.


It is obvious that Ahn fell down because of Li, not because of Ohno. Do not automatically assume that Ohno is at fault for all of Korea's Short Track problems in 2002.

As for Shaq.... he's helping out Yao Ming by appearing in a telethon that Yao is hosting. I believe he helped donated to the fund too.

So I was pissed, but at least Shaq made an effort not to look like an ass. So I forgive the guy. Besides, how many people look up to Shaq for his intelligence. Let the dumbass slide.

Leno is just a product of the media machine. He'll probably meet his death with a tumor in his chin. But maybe it's cuz he got rejected by asian girls on regular basis. So that's probably reason for his hate.

First of all, Leno's wife isn't black, I've seen her on his show a couple of times, and she looks italian to me.

Secondly, what's the point of bringing in all these "examples" of how the Jewish people are trying to keep you down? I mean no offense to you or anyone else who suffered racist teachers or anything, but for every example you have of jewish people hating on asians, I can think of an equal amount of Jewish professors and fellow students that have been very nice to me and my family. I've known quite a few jewish people who try to learn chinese and become better aquainted with asian culture.

Just avoid the show if you're so upset about it. The thing is, how many unheard racial comments go around the world period? it could or could not be the same amount that is publicized on television. Just choose to ignore it because there's no point in wasting time stressing over comments made by those few ignorant individuals. That's fine and dandy, but I just think that the people who are opposed to his remarks are themselves ashamed of dog eating Koreans.

I don't think the issue of dog eating is besides the point. People opposed to it see dog eating as something that is unnacceptable in American society. They do not want to be associated with the dog eaters. This is why they want the dog eating jokes to stop.

However I do understand your point if you bring it into a different context.

I have heard the racial slur "riceater" before. This I do find offensive. Any time I have heard this, the intent is always to make the asian person feel bad for being different. Rice is a perfectly acceptable food.

I do think it's wrong that often the only joke that gets made about Koreans is that they eat dogs, while the French get a much wider spectrum of jokes made about 'em - they can't win a war, they hate America but they need us, they drink too much, they smoke too much (actually, that all seems to describe Korea too :P ) - but I don't think it's on a par with making jokes about shoveling Jews into ovens.

Um, not to get into a historical debate or anything, but as for winning wars, I would like to remind you of Admiral Yi Sun Shin who repelled Hideyoshi with his fleet of turtle boats. so what exactly is it that you think should be done about it? Take some moeny and spotlight away from the holocaust survivors and focus more on the asian side?

I don't think it should matter that jewish people get more press coverage here in america. I mean the rape of nanjing should be made more known, but it shouldn't come at a cost to the holocaust survivors....I mean the jewish people and the chinese have all suffered the same cruelty. Shouldn't we be more united and understanding due to this?
