I just chomp it down, i don't know how people can eat corn so neatly...
White corn is always better than yellow corn, to me :wink:

i usually bite 2 or 3 off at a time in a neat manner. it takes longer than the "all out" method, but there's usually no corn left by the time i'm done, and i don't need to go over a row more than once.

Well i guess i'm just one of those people that just don't like to sit that and eat for hella long. If i'm in a restaurant, i just like to eat and get out. Especially when it's a busy restaurant because someone else wants to eat too.

if u slice it off with a knife, you don't face the corn in teeth problem. also, if you eat it from one side to another the corn slides right off in each row without that corn in teeth problem as well.

personally, i just try not to eat anythign that could be too messy in public. less hassle.

sounds like the fob technique for hurrying people up. i say it works quite well. i usually ignore them and proceed with eating very verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slowly.

i prefer chewing my corn on the cob... from left to right... how ppl eat it so neatly i have no clue... but yeah, i like the white corn better... they taste so sweet to me that you almost dont even need butter and salt.. but yeah, i have to have butter and salt... when i eat my corn... its kinda like a requirement...

and putting on the butter with a knife.. it can by slippery.. like the butter just rolls off sometimes... so like... i just take a whole stick of butter... and just roll my corn over it...

I guess I'm just an obsessive eater. I also chew on bones to get the marrow out and I've even cracked open peach pits, etc to get at what's inside.

Yes. Corn is what I call a butter vehicle. Everything is better with butter. If no one is watching I roll the cob on top of the butter stick. Then I dive in.

This reminds me of a joke my europhile-japanese friend told me.

There are 2 tests to see if a Japanese girl is datable. (playing on the fact that Japanese generally have bad teeth. Don't get mad at me all you JAs because over here in Japan it is true. Only the very very wealthy can afford to get braces and go to the dentist regularly because the national healthcare insurance does not cover dental work.)

1. The apple test.
Throw an apple at her face when she is smiling. Aim for her mouth. If the apple sticks to her smile she fails the test.

I eat typewriter style, 4 rows at a time. Nice and clean.

I would also say something about the way corn is digested (or rather isn't), but that could be a gross image. Oh well...too late :)
