2002 LA Tofu Festival

AUGUST 10TH & 11TH -- Celebrate the 7th Annual LA TOFU FESTIVAL in downtown's Little Tokyo on San Pedro Street between 2nd and 3rd Streets from 11-6 p.m. on Saturday and 11-4 p.m. on Sunday. Benefitting the Little Tokyo Service Center, the Tofu Festival features live entertainment including R & B acts Noly and 3rd Avenue, Taiko, and martial arts demonstrations, a health and fitness expo, children's activities, health screenings and much more. While enjoying continuous performances on three stages, visitors to the Tofu Festival can sample the best tofu dishes created by LA's finest chefs - many who wil be on hand to offer cooking demonstrations as well as compete in the first ever tofu cooking competition. Admission is $2 and food prices range from $1-$4.

yummy. i tasted their dishes last year when i went to a meeting at the little tokyo service center. they wanted us to try them before selling them at the fair.

they had chocolate cake made out of tofu, tofu fried rice, tofu jello, tofu soup...
