I hope this doesn't turn into a Catenaccio "let's just drop back and defend and counter when we have a chance" Italian game. That would really suck.

I think it probably goes way of Serie A type of match. How come the darn English team can't get to the final?

1) Because Arsenal cannot play defense if their life depended on it.

2) Because Real crushed Man U (which is ironic considering Man U beat the hell out of Juve, and Real couldn't)

3) The other English teams cannot compete in Europe, period.

I don't think any English team can play defense in the caliber of Italian team, or perhaps it's just their style of play.

Other than Arsenal and Man U, I don't see any other English premiere league teams that can be competitive in the Champions League.

yeah, only other team that comes close is newcastle, but they barely eeked through this year...

I love liverpool, but as is obvious in their performance this past year in the premiership and the champs league, they're big choke artists. That's why they won't even be going next year.
