When I was younger -- high school and college -- I could compete in basketball. Being under tall (less than 6 foot), I could run the court, go inside, and grab rebounds. Now days, if I am too play at all, which hasn't been in months, I keep my self outside the paint.

It's a big man's game, now, it seems. Six footers can move with grace around the hoop and the perimeter. They can run the court with the ball for the full length. Maybe, I've just been away from the game too long.

Hey don't give up on yourself. Mugsy Bogues had a pretty good career in the NBA and he was 5'3", which is considered short even by real-world standards.

If you are 6.1 you should practice dunking over a soft object then you will improve your vertical leap to dunk over a 6.11'' Try it at your own risk though

Yep -- that or you were just playing against midgets before.
