please give us your opinion on le prive. drinks, service, price, music, crowd, etc.

drinks? what drinks? u have to choose between crown, crown reserve, and henessey vsop. otherwise ur a baller and drinkin blue label or XO.
service is okay.. but it should be since ur paying 30% tip on a $300 bill.
the price depends. u can look like a cheapo and share a bottle of crown between 6-7 guys, or you can actually drink ur fill but prepare to bend over when the check comes. my gf's b-day came out to $1300. :blink:
music is mostly korean stuff, hip hop, and slow songs mixed in every once in a while.
crowd is getting younger and younger. now its mostly college kids. a lot of Chinese peeps. actually i heard rumors that ownership of the club is now Chinese. most of the old fogies have migrated to BOBOs (the new Velfarre)

why even waste money on Le Prive, it is a total waste of money!
guys are better off spending less on a massage parlor.
Le Prive = 1 star and a whole lot of sausages

yep. only le prive is avaron x 10. and the waiters are much more aggresive. :)
Le Prive is okay every once in a while. Last time I was there, some many months ago, most of the girls that got booked to our table were 18-20. WTF?! I guess Karnak really is the place for us "older" people. Though I hear the ABC cracked down and the average age is up a bit again.
I like the club itself. Music's okay. The whole K-Club arrangment is kinda whack, but it's nice to actually have a homebase to return to at a club. Crown is shit though.
Interesting tidbit: I heard Voodoo is trying to remake itself as a K-club known as, no joke, "Don't tell mama!" WTF?!?! Hahaha! Can anyone verify this?

if i ever go to a korean club again, it'll probably just be kar nak or some new one that just opened up to give it a chance. Le Prive I won't ever go unless I have hordes of women begging to me to go with them. I guess that means never. <_<

I can confirm that. Hahaha, down on olympic and crenshaw right? I heard its not half bad, but with a name like that....
Oh wow. I'm going to have to check it out sometime. Our law school friend's cousin owns that club. And I work at the firm that represents 'em. "Don't tell mama?" WTF?!

well, another attorney went there once and she said it turned out to be s & m night. people were naked and whipping each other upstairs. weird eh?
Wait, but that was a while ago, right (S&M night)? I heard they totally changed it into a k-club with reserved tables and everything. I should talk to Bob.

Dude, don't cofuse me with my roommate! Kiwi has always been Szu's waitress. I have no idea where Superman is. Come to think of it, I don't even know which one Superman was. I know of Rambo, Prive Kim, Dotan (or something to that effect)...

Didn't they recently change the name of Le Prive? I just passed by there the other day and it was some other name that I don't remember.
