although i have a 6mb box at yahoo, i think i'd enjoy the private email at yw over it for the sheer lack of porn mail and people trying to screw me out of my money! Besides, private emails make you look like the shiznatty of em all. so...how does it work though...i'm still confused.

if i find the answer i'll edit this out.

Simple! You just go to http://yellowworld.org/webmail/ and log in. Or you can use it with an email client like Outlook.

hey just curiuous when a website blocks "public email accounts" like hotmail, yahoo etc. (like they only accept "isp") do they just do the known offenders (hotmail etc.) or do they have a filtering program?

like yellowworld is not as "well known" so would it be filtered out by the "free email" sweep?

it kind depends. some places do use the known offenders thing. others, i believe use the negative rule: if this address *doesn't* come from these block of ips, then we reject it. there's a large list of isps somewhere...
