YW Gallery

The YW Gallery is back up!

Log into the forums at http://forums.yellowworld.org and then select the "Gallery" hyperlink on the forum index (next to the AIM Chat, Help, etc). It's necessary for you to first log into the forums to access the Gallery properly, but if you're like some of the YW addicts out there, this will not be an issue for you, since you're already perenially logged in.

The majority of the albums transferred over fine; however, there are still about 20 albums that I wasn't able to trace back to a member. So please check the Gallery to see if one of the generic albums belongs to you. If so, you can email me or private message me in the forums so we can get that squared away.

*If the an album is not claimed by May 1. 2003, it will be deleted*!

Couple of reasons for the delay:

1) My upside down life
2) The time necessary to migrate all of the physical image files and dbs...on dial-up, it's basically forever.

Ugh... well, in the future, if you need to move a massive amount of data, I'm sure one of the members with broadband (myself included) would be happy to assist in that regard.

Thanks dude! If I can ever hone some good techniques on migrating shit, I'll take ya up on it. I actually thought about that while I was fiddling with different stuff...only because none of this is hardly ever supported (when you move from one application to another's), it's a lot of trial and error.

underneath our photos...
what does lightbox mean??

and is there a way you can make it so we can delete our own photos... that we dont want up anymore...
just curious...

nice improvement with the appearance of the photo gallery tho...

Sorry about that, I've been having to transfer ownership of each image file from myself to the respective owner...it's a long process:)

You should have full control over your images now.

The lightbox is just a way of saving photos to your account...
