i been having a weird problem w/ my z32/ s15 silvia calipers... sat we did a s15 brake and hub swap...where we according to my friend who sold me the setup had about 6k miles on it and looked pretty dam new... we tho didnt resurface the rotors and used a new pads but reused the brake shims. the car that recieved the brake hub upgrade was my 1995 s14 non abs base model. we're using Z32 hardlines to the caliper and S15rubberlines comefrom the stock s14's hard lines
when i brake the cars wheel moves slightly but always about 1-2mm to the left like one wheel is locked more then the other. But this didnt seem to be a problem the 1st 2 days. but after i had the car aligned it started to pull more like 3-5 mm to left every medium to hard stop...
so i took it in today and the dealer tried sum stuff.
1. they bled the front brake line and got sum air bubbles out of the right side front side...they said i had alota air in the right front...
2. they realligned it and inspected the calipers for leaks and rotor...
after that the car pulls alot less like only 2-3mm now under heavy breaking only...the wheel doesnt shake at all and the allignments perfect. so heres wat i been suggested maybe theres a problem w/ the pads and/or with the rotor itself like its either slightly warped and is need to be replaced, the pads are deffective or need to be remounted, the shims could be bad or maybe the caliper needs to be rebuilt...?
ne ideas and anyone have the same problem? maybe its just me being extra sensitive.
