In terms of actual sports I like to run and swim and play volleyball and I also like whiffleball (harder to miss) but I don't really like watching those sports (esp. baseball for some reason it just moves really really slow and and I don't enjoy watching the pitcher scratch his crotch every 5 seconds and stand around for like 5 minutes between each pitch ahem anyways j/k). For watching I prefer basketball the most and gymnastics. Do you guys like to play the sports you watch or do you find that they are often different and/or separate from each other (the sports you like to play vs. the sports you like to watch).

I play basketball and I watch basketball. Sometimes I want to coach basketball and own basketball.

I play baseball as well as watch it.

I watch football, but would get killed trying to play it.

I watch running a lot. I guess that's the only sport that I watch that I actually participate in.

In my present incarnation, I would die from playing any type of anaerobic activity. I used to love playing football and basketball...or pretty much any type of competitive activity.

I love to watch baseball football and soccer.

I am somewhat good at playing volleyball.

I don't know how to do any of the sports I watch. I don't really watch any sports, so I guess I'm off the hook?

The only sport I watch is soccer.

I'll play most anything except golf, which I think is boring as all hell, and probably basketball which I truly suck at.

Golf is like drugs to me. I can't quit no matter how hard I tried. I hated it before I seriously tried it. I wanted to quit many times whenever I was playing a bad round, but one great shot always bring me back to the sprots.

Oh yeeeeeeeah ... golf season has started in the lone star state.

i prefer to watch live sports rather than on the telly.
i have a thing for golf. i totally think the golf swing
is sexy on a guy. arm power perhaps?

i don't watch football (soccer) on the telly, but don't
mind going to the stadium at all. one of my best experiences
was at the charity shield; man u vs. liverpool. i think
it's the whole football culture that enthralled me.

i went to blackpool for the '01 British Open (golf) which
was quite fantastic. yes. arm power is definitely sexy.

and i love being an F1 spectator . i've only been to one
in Monaco, but it's quite mindblowing. zip zip zip.

the only sport i do now is probably golf. i don't even go
on rounds. just the driving range.

not really into watching sports on tv. i'd rather go there and watch it live. pretty much the only time i watch sports on tv is when there's a championship coming up. like super bowl, world series, final four, stuff like that. the only sport i could ever watch on tv is lacrosse, but we don't really get too much of that kind of programming over here.

I love watching soccer matches on TV, especially the world cup and the european league tournament.
I used to play soccer a lot back in HS but then I moved to the States for college and never played it, since none of you americans seem to enjoy it, and so now I suck at it. I'll start to play it again once I find people to play it with

if I don't play a sport I have no interest in watching it

I love to watch pretty much any sport live, I've even been to a pro lacrosse game and it was intense.

On TV I watch football, baseball, basketball, boxing and if I'm lucky martial arts (kickboxing, ISKA...)

In real life I like playing football, snowboarding, rock climbing, martial arts, and hockey. So there's a bit of a cross over for me. I like to play golf, but I hate watching it on TV. I'm getting tickets to the Buick Classic again this year, that should be fun, last year I was gypped, no Tiger Woods. I'll let you guys know if I have any extra.

I love to play basketball, however, it's so boring to watch on tv, espeically since MJ and da gang hung it up.....

and I'm not talking about that MJ who just 'retired' again.
