So I was cruisin' around mixedfolks.com's hapa celebrity list, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar is listed. Apparently, his mother is Indonesian (and his father is Dutch). His bio on IMDB.com (http://us.imdb.com/Bio?Gosselaar,%20Mark-Paul) backs this up.

So Zack was a hapa, and all this time I never knew it? :blink: Weird...


P.S. - There are some messed up Saved By the Bell fan sites out there...
P.P.S. - Screech came to my school about a month ago to do his standup act. Apparently he is now an overweight, cranky alcoholic and possibly a cokehead (he reportedly told the audience to 'trust the dust'). Also, everyone who saw him said he was awful.

Hey look at it this way if ur Chinese, chances are ur probably some ethnic group mixed with some other ethnic group (usually ancient Han mixed with something else).

Ok, yes Mark-Paul is mixed. But, not sure if it's dutch from Indonesia or actual Asian blood. But then again, on my dad's side of the family just over 25% of them have 1/4 Asian blood. And...not all of them look Asian at all.

Mario Lopez is not Hawaiian. Keanu Reeves, Hoku Ho (Don Ho's daughter) and Kelly Hu are Hawaiian. And FYI, Tia Carrerre Jason Scott Lee aren't Hawaiian. *L*

Although Samoans and Maoris are NOT Asians, they are Pacific Islanders, which would cover The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) who is Samoan and Russell Crowe and even the late Kevin Smith who are part Maori.

Kevin Smith's well known role was in XENA, he played Aries. He died from a fall. Went into a coma I think. This happened in China some time in 2002. He was suppose to be filming shortly after that in Hawaii with Bruce Willis in that Bruce Willis movie that just came out, but he never made it.

I don't know if there is another Kevin Smith. Anyway, I'd say Russell Crowe is as white as they come. *L* But, his grandmother was a Maori. I forgot from which tribe.

Reminds me of one of my husband's little cousins. His fourth aunt has some quasi-Caucasian features and one of her sons got them. He has light brown hair and light skin, looks Eurasian but isn't. Anyhow he gets teased non-stop that he looks American and he always runs off crying and yelling "§Ú ¬O ¤¤°ê¤H¡T§Ú ¬O ¤¤°ê¤H!" ((wo shi zhong guo ren! wo shi zhong guo ren!)) between sobs.
