What does your current swimming suit look like? If you're planning to look for a new one or two-piece, what kind of swimming suit are you most likely going to purchase? I recently bought two swimming suits-- a one-piece and a two-piece, but I think the one-piece was a mistake. Have any of you seen any decent one-piece'ers? =) If so, post away.=)

it's hard to find a cute one piece.
although, a simple one in bold is okay.
adidas has nice one pieces.

i always buy two piece suits.
preferably boy shorts.
ocean pacific and roxy has cute swimsuits.

Remember Old Navy last year? Where they had those swimsuits on sale? My mom bought me two two-piece suits. One's red and the other is... navy. They don't fit me anymore... the top is too tiny. <_< I really like the tankini from AE though.

What a waste though. Only one summer. Sheesh. Oh wait. Haha. Or was that two? I don't remember. I do remember wearing it when I went to Florida. Jumping in the pool was not fun. My top flipped up. <_< Water slides were fun though. No danger there. :lol:

last summer i went camping with a bunch of people.
i was wearing this suit with a halter top.
and i guess i didn't put my top in securely enough.
i'm in the pool bobbing up and down, chatting
with one of the older guys that went camping with us.
and suddenly he turns and walks away.
i'm like wth. that is so rude.

my top came off, apparently.
i was mortified.

give you LIKE the biggest wedgies EVER.

i prefer bright prints.

Yargh. Same thing happened to me . . . with an Old Navy bikini too . . .

top flipped up . . . and the boy i was talking to immediately made a nosedive to the bottom of the pool. . . .

i was like :huh: ??

when he resurfaced, he said - okay. that should have given you enough time to adjust, and uhm i was just hoping that the bottom would have come off too!

I prefer baggy trunks myself (er, for myself)...and solid colors or simple prints, two piece over one piece for women...

I typed in Asian Swimwear for fun in Google, and the ugliest thing I have ever seen came up. It's called "Mandarin - hip and cool asian inspired print".

Surely there have to be better examples of Asian Inspiration, if you wanted to get cultural...ideas?

Here in latin-america is pretty common to see guys in really small speedos, it's almost as if they were wearing thongs.

I personally like the ones that look like little boxers. Though sometimes I just wear surfing shorts

surfing shorts are cool. They're baggy, and they don't cling to you when you sweat.

back to swimwear.... I think girls who wear bikinis, and board shorts are cute. They don't need to show off their bodies, and yet are enchanting enough to draw me to them. :lol:

As for the yw men bare flesh challenge, oh yes I want it. Worst case scenario, we would all have a laugh in a nervously disturbed way.

And I don't think anyone even HAS a picture of them in their bikini. I know if I did I'd destroy the negatives straightaway.
