nope. but i just finished the single player game tonight. the story was kind of a letdown after starcraft and brood war imo.

If you want the hacked beta let me know. I don't use it because it covers you original. But my friend does. Basically this is what he told me. All tier 3 air has heavy armor. Treants can attack rooted. UD get a mana draining cold tower. Warden is awesome at harrasing workers. Crystal balls are unlimited in usage, but there is a 1 minute cool down. Creeps don't give as much EXP. ONLY 1 TP is given and that is with your first hero. And TPs have a delay effect a lot like Mass Teleport. Casters now do "magic damage" instead of piercing. Crypt Lord's impale, has lost it's stunn affect. Mountain Giants are ALWAYS the last thing to die on the field (go NE =)). Things cost less, gold, but WAY more wood. Teching is a lot hard. ALL upgrades have been jacked up in the WOOD department. Neutral Hero Nagasea wicth can swim. The Panderan Brewmasters, ULTIMATE can get spank'd by drys abolish mag (300 dmg to summon units). Pretty much he said, rank'd players (like himself), will completely have to change the way the play AT games. he said, Blizzard is changing the way the game play'd in these ways. Heavy creeping won't be as beneficial, Rushing won't be as useful, Hero rushing will be A LOT less, massing a units, will leave you dead. Mana managing will be key, and the spead fact of the game will be slowed down. And controlling gold mines won't be as usefull, as managing lumber.

Um seeing as how there IS NO WARCRAFT 3 FROZEN THRONE SINGLE PLAYER MISSIONS CREATED I don't see how it is possible at all that you've played the Single Player missions of this game unless by "play" you meant "imagine it."

Maybe you were thinking of Warcraft 3 - The classic....Frozen Throne is the expansion and is currently in beta...

I dunno how competitively/hardcore you guys play Wc3 (I'm pretty hardcore...use to be 300s rank solo) but the xpac really does balance the game a lot.

Mass casters is no longer totally dominant. Creeping has been nerfed so the game doesnt involve 10 minutes of avoidiung each other while creeping for a high level hero.

New armor types and weapon types have been introduced....basically it now is

ranged > air/casters > melee > ranged

Unfortunately the new units have been a total letdown. Basically as usual Night Elves have gotten a huge boost while all the other races have gotten nerfed...

Night Elves : New warden hero has insane area damage spell that requires no micro...just click and it does damage for you! Mountain giants are good too...

Humans: New bloodmage is utterly useless. New tower that drains mana is kind of useful but is light armor so it dies in about 2 seconds anyway. All their casters got weakened and so did gryphons so basically humans are left to rust.

Undead: New cryptlord hero (spider) is useless. Still suck...

Orc: New shadowhunter hero is decent. New units suck. More nerfing!

Basically it's now even more Night elves fest than it is to be...

Follow the instructions and you can play beta on warforge server.

Use these 2 Official cd-keys if you really want to play on battle.net servers...although it's basically a bunch of newbies. Warforge has better players since only truly hardcore/geeky players seek to play a beta game heh...

LoL. Go NE Blizzard love the NE, =P. They required SO MUCH microing, solo. or you had to whoop, between tier 1 and 2. Because NE melee is horrid as of right now. Usually you had to pray that you intercepting the enemy, at a good distance where you drys and archers could take out a few 1000+ melee units for your poor 950 bears. -_-. Bloodmage, well what can I say. And that Mage Beserk, melee caster, horrid. I like the crypt lord, sadly they took away the stun feature, of impale. And the Warden, while s/he has no health blink makes up for that and leave most heros spanked.

I love the fact, that it is not only a physical war, but a mana war. If i could find my original CD key, I would play beta, but I left doing it at a friends. If anyone knows how to figure out your original CD key plz tell me.

If you still have the original installed on your comp, I'm pretty sure you can find it by diving in the registry.
