I'm also kinda unemployed right now

What's sad it's that most of my friends either got laid off recently or haven't been able to find anything at all. So don't feel bad, cuz you're not the only one

Houston and Dallas are pretty cool cities and the nousing isn't bad at all.

Somone told me that Chicago was expensive but I have friends there and it's not like they're spending a lot of money on housing. I gotta say that it's one of my favorite cities

It's incredibly expensive to live in most of those cities, isn't it? I don't know what San Jose's like.

Yeah, southerners don't get paid well in relation to the rest of the country, but the cost of living is much, much lower so a dollar goes a damn long way there. Especially as you go deeper south.

I'd never take a job in places like Alabama or Missippi, but I think Texas is fine. As long as you hang out in big cities like Houston and Dallas it'll be fun. I lived in Austin, it wasn't that big but it was cool cuz most of the people there are young (professionals and college students).

yeah salary rates were a lot lower when i was in florida (orlando) compared to where i am now (DC). but housing costs was much cheaper in orlando. the cheapest townhouse here in DC will cost you at least 300K - and that'll give you a shitty townhouse. 300K can pretty much get you a small mansion in orlando. and florida doesn't have state income tax either.
