the first couple of the leprecaun movies were okay, a bit ridiculous, but rather okay.
at least they remained generally horror flicks.
however, the third installment of the series was a joke.
and NOW, to make it worse, a couple years ago, the people who released the original Leprecaun movie, made a new leprecaun movie.
it was coined by the supposed fanclub as "the movie of the token black men".
and, in essence, it was true.
many token black men from many movies were in the film.
however, the most nerve racking thing ever, is the following: it was okay to have a rhyming leprecaun walking around killing people in the first film. it was even okay in the second film. and it was borderline intolerable in the third film. but to have a RHYME -RAPPING- LEPRECAUN in a film full of "thugs" is just plain disturbing.

i highly recommend this film to others. it was great ^_^

Now, I'm going to rent it. Just because I have to see the rapping leprechaun.

it's an older flick, but not many people know about it, due to it's immense craptuacular hilariousness ^_^

My mind boggles at how this film got passed up for an oscar. A shame really.

In short Leprechaun in the hood is an alegory for the times we live in and the struggle for ethnic acceptance (irish vs black)
