ok slightly off topic, but you know how ppl get all shocked when they talk about ppl eating placentas in taiwan or whatever?

well never mind for the moment that ppl DONT eat placentas in taiwan, or maybe they do, I dunno.


I was just thinking, what's WRONG w/ eating placenta or other tissue matter that's gonna go to waste anyway? i mean if there is a way to safely prepare placenta, then I think by all means it should be used for nutritional or medicinal purposes or whatever else ppl can do w/ placentas. I mean birth is yucky, but no need to waste its byproducts just cuz they're gross (even if the gross byproduct is the baby him/herself--i mean i bet babies taste GREAT).
