i'm looking for tickets, too. the cheapest i've found so far is about $602--

6/21 SFO to OGG
6/28 OGG to HNL
7/2 HNL to SFO

do you think $602 is high? or should i take it and run? i'm trying to find the cheapest tickets i can, so that more of my friends can go.

where is HNL?
OGG is Kahului Airport, in Maui.
HNL is Honolulu Intl Airport in Honolulu.

Man that's pretty good. My folks have some kind of thai connection and they've always managed to get roundtrip flights to Thailand from NY for about $560. I'm going back there in November and I'm gonna see if there's anyway I can upgrade to first class with my miles. 23 hours is just too long to sit cramped up.

my birthday's in november =)
you can help me celebrate.
plus i'm good at relieving people.

prices are different, depending when
you're flying, and how far ahead you booked.
it's always more expensive to fly fri, sat or sun.

if you can get something during the weekday
for both getting there and return, then you
should be saving some $$. =)

EVA - if you sit on their deluxe economy class thingie? it's pretty good, kinda like business class w/out business class prices . . .

uhm, best econ class i've had is virgin (whaahoo!!! that bar thing of theirs? rocks!) - and Singapore :) (grade A service and grade A hostesses, in the words of a goddess "rawr!")

uhm, that's my 2 cents :P

Their upgraded economy class has wide seats and more room and hits a sweet spot for bang for buck, and their economy is about average. Their food is also better than most airlines that service Asia. And they serve Taiwan Beer -- how I love the utilitarian cans (too bad I can't say much for what's contained inside). Cheng Kai Shek is their main hub so you'll probably have a stopover there no matter where you're headed, even if it's technically a longer trip.

The funniest thing about airlines based in Asia is the non-existence of EEO. All the stewardesses are, well, stewardesses and young. Fly an American airline and you'll get stewards and stewardesses, some who have been up in the air for a while.

the economy deluxe, i've been on that before. it's pretty comfy, a hella lot better than economy.
i think i flew london-bangkok on that. pretty good.
