My daughter saw me frying some Spam one day. She looks at it with this quizzive look and asked where Spam came from. I showed her the can, expecting her to read it. Now looking puzzled, she asked, "Is there an animal called a Spam?"

I get the feeling that you are not taking this thread seriously. If you don't take SPAM seriously, can we trust your opinion and perspective on any of the less-important issues on YW????

Yeah, McDonald's even trialed SPAM with breakfast for a while over there.
Like FP said, in the Philippines too. My mom growing up would slice the spam and fry it and serve it with eggs... like it's some kind of... actual meat. I think she thought she was doing us a favor. Just thinking about that makes me want to go vegetarian. Actually this whole topic is making me sick.

I eat spam and rice. I tried the spam burger recipe, but I decided I liked regular burgers better. Spam is good, but way salty.
