It's coming up. This fight looks interesting Roy Jones Jr (light heavy weight champion) vs John Ruiz (heavy weight champion). Jones is be giving up around 50-60 lbs come fight time.

Jones...I think may be favored, but for no good reason. He hasn't really fought anyone of note in years...many people say he's avoided opponents intentionally. Although he had great skills before, I think the weight (and therefore strength) disadvantage will be too much for him to overcome.

ruiz is gonna knock jones' ass down to super flyweight; more than likely because after this fight, jones is gonna be drinking his food through a straw.

Holy cow, Jones is giving up alot of weight, 233 for Ruiz to Jones 175. That's gonna hurt.

I think if it goes the distance Jones will win. But, if Jones get's hit early, he'll get hit hard and it might be over. That's a lot of weight behind that punch from Ruiz. Should be interesting tho.

sniff...if i only had cable...i'd really like to see this fight tho. jones seems pretty ballsey by giving up nearly 60 pounds of angry man power. but then again, i'd like to see the fight end in 2 or 3 rounds just to point out that he may not be as skilled as he thinks he is and crush his ego...

either way, they'd both knock the shit outta me, so it's not like i'm saying that jones is unskilled.

Wait, this isn't on HBO? Darn, I already have HBO, I'm not gonna pay for it if it's on PPV.

I guarantee Jones will pop and move throughout the whole fight. He's no dummy. He picked Ruiz cuz The Gentleman has hands and feet of clay.

This fight will be Jones dancing and running to win an ez boring decision.

Not worth the $50 PPV price. UFC is a better bargain or rent a porno.

The black box is a great investment. Had mine for a little over 5 years now.

Jones won in an unanimous 12th round decision. He might be hyped up, but he looked sharp last night.

jones is the man....it sucks that many are saying he won't fight another heavyweight bout though...i dont know if he could survive with the likes of lewis, tyson, the klitschko (sp?) bros. or even holyfield

yeah...good fight...ruiz complained that he 'couldn't fight his fight' though...said the ref was cheatin...kinda lame excuse if u ask me-you weight 25+ more pounds than him, 3 inches taller, and had a 6inch reach advantage...
