i try to stay away from groups,
but there are a lot of asian people out here. mostely in the western suburbs. theres a nice japanese market i go to about three times a week. Called Mitsuwa, its the same as the ones in california, if you've been there. its way out west on 100 E. Algonquin Road, Arlington Hts. my experience is that the many asians here are fob or 1st generation american. but yeah, not much here but cold winters. its alright though. oh and the japanese cultural center is on belmont, just off the red line el. its an interesting place.

Mitsuwa is such a rip. Everything is sooooooo EXPENSIVE. :pissed:
But I like True World Market. Its on 72 and Arlington heights rd. Basically south of mitsuwa by the woods. And Elk Grove Bowl and the Elk park where they have live elk in a pen.

Asian american groups? hmm dont think so. I dont think we have any of those in Chi town. i think most azns in chi town dont give a shit, We complain and talk to each other but we wont group together and act on getting things done.
