This was forwarded to me from someone...
"Both of these events should be really good. We watched Jane Elliott's
video in one of my classes, and she's amazing. We're so excited that
she's actually coming to speak at MIT! I hope you can make it to one or
both of these events on the next two Thursdays. As Christians on this
campus, I think it's important that we're aware of what racism still
exists, and that we cannot accept it because it is not part of the Kingdom
that God desires to bring to Earth.

"Could you Handle being a Minority for Less Than 2 Hours?"
"The Anatomy of Prejudice"
Speaker: Jane Elliott
February 20th, 2003
Room 10-250, 6-8:30pm
"Anything you learn, you can unlearn."
Jane Elliott
Jane Elliot developed the "Brown Eyes/Blue Eyes" experiment for her 3rd
grade class following the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. She
believes the experiment proves that racism is a learned behavior and not a
genetically inherited one.
Television documentaries of Jane Elliot's work include the Peabody Award
winning "The Eye of the Storm," and "A Class Divided," as well as "The
Eye of the Beholder" and a PBS Frontline Series, which both garnered Emmy
Awards.
Elliot continues to guide the nation in unlearning the habit of
discrimination.
