Farthest place i've ever gone is Australia when I was about 10...but my brother and I got busted for throwing rocks at the koala bears at the zoo because they were sleeping in the trees and they wouldn't turn their heads so we couldn't get one of those bad-ass Kodak moments......

Outside the US, I've been to Thailand, Japan, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, London, and Mexico.
The best trip was to Denmark. I went with my best friend for 6 weeks and we were 19 at the time. Drinking is allowed at 18 and we knew a bunch of girls that lived there (why we went to visit). It was the summer and they have that thing where at one point there's a day where the sun doesn't go down (they have this in winter, where there's a whole day where the sun never rises).
We partied hard, all the girls are topless at the beaches and everyone loves americans, even Asian-americans. I'd love to go back there one day, but that's definatley an expericance I'll never forget.
The trip to london was fantastic too. I saw an ad in the paper for a round trip flight to heathrow from JFk for $99. I decided what the hell, I'm young and I have the money, so I went there for a week, by myself. I was 20 then. The hostel I stayed at happened to by across the street from a pub where a local girls univeristy hung out. I turns out that they have an exchange program where 20 girls from Alabama were all studying there and they all partied at this pub. I hung out with more american chicks there then I do in NY!

cool, next time you go, bring me back some of the local cuisine and snacks, okay? I just went to the fridge and we're all outta hot sauce.
My craziest travelling experience was definitely in Turkey as part of an orchestra exchange program through my high school. Wandering around Istanbul and Ankara, being able to order drinks in restaurants even though we were only 15, mangled Turkish phrases we got from phrasebooks, scary public transportation, 600000 lira for a bottle of water, etc.

the farthest place I've been to was NYC and the fact that I went there a week prior to 9/11. I chilled around the WTC fountain and the nearby galleria mall.

In Europe:
Lived in England for a year, plus I visited once before with my family and once before school started.
Spain - Barcelona and (I think) Madrid when I was a kid, Barcelona again on a school trip
Italy - Rome, Florence, Venice. My younger sister got lost in Florence.
France - Paris, Normandy, and all over southern France; we went there three times... I have no idea what my parents think is so great about that country. One time they tried to get cash from an ATM, and it wouldn't work, so they used another card, which also didn't work. Then they went to the ATM across the street, then another nearby, then rotated between the three for a while before trying to call the company in the US - only to discover that the calling card my father had brought along was Italian, not French. Eventually we got it worked out, but we lost a whole afternoon.
Hungary - Budapest, which was my first trip on my own. I like central Europe a lot better than western Europe.
In Asia:
Japan - Tokyo (of course), Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima. Been there around 9 times with my family and once as an exchange student in HS (only for 3 weeks though)
Hong Kong - Twice, three times if you count that I was born there.
Thailand - Bangkok. Elephants walking down the street. I remember we went to dinner right after we landed and I was so jetlagged I fell asleep and smacked my forehead against the edge of the table, right where I had a big zit too  I loved the floating markets.
Singapore - Don't really remember much except that it was boring as hell.
China - Beijing and Shanghai. Dad got us lost looking for a stationery store (or something like that) and we wandered around for an entire afternoon. More bicycles than you can imagine.
Viet Nam - Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) and Hanoi. Went to see the Hanoi Hilton, the Cu Chi tunnels, and the Museum of American Atrocities, plus some cultural stuff.
In/Around the US:
Hawaii: Three times, and it gets better each time I go.
Puerto Rico: We went when I was real little, and the only thing I can remember is that my hair was really long at the time and my bangs went down past my eyebrows.
Florida: Twice. Yes, Disneyworld.
Boston: Since I really haven't traveled that much within the US, I guess I should mark this down. Me and three friends went to see a friend who goes to Harvard. We really didn't do much besides hang out, though.
Saint Louis: Mizzourah! Where I go to school now!

heh, since when did this turn into the "list every place you've been" thread? :P
USA:
Home state California, been up in wine country, over to Yosemite, all around the Bay, Monterey/Pebble Beach, La Jolla, LA, San Diego.
Other states? driven through Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico on family trips. Got plenty of relatives in Illinois and Virginia/West Virginia who I've visited once or twice. Aunt used to live in Wisconsin, saw her there, but haven't been to her new home in Iowa. Road tripped to Idaho with some friends to go visit the one girl we knew there. Nothing to see in Idaho. Gone to school in New England for almost 7 years now, so I've gone tax-free outlet shopping in New Hampshire, in addition to seeing the sites of Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Spent a lot of time in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during my frosh and sophomore years of college. Oh yeah, and took a family vacation to Hawaii when I was nine.
Other Americas:
Been to British Colombia. That's it. Trying to hit up Toronto next month.
Europe:
One time in high school, it was cheaper to buy a ticket to London for spring break (from Boston) than to buy a ticket back to California, so me and some friends went to London and crashed with people there. lots of fun. took a trip over to France while we were at it. As mentioned above, also went on an orchestra exchange program in high school which took me to Turkey, we changed planes in Berlin.
Africa:
None.
Asia:
In and out of Malaysia for a lot of my childhood. Been to Philippines ones to visit distant relatives also. Studied in Japan for a summer, travelled around to Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, Yokohama, and Tokyo while I was there. Saw cow towns in Mie and Aichi prefecture. Studied in Hong Kong for a semester, travelled around southern China (Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Zengcheng, and Shenzhen ... next time I'll hit up the first half of the alphabet), took a short trip to Taiwan and Tokyo. Next on my list for future plans: maybe Korea? or northern China, to practice all that Mandarin I'm not learning.

SF, Seattle, NY, SD, HK, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, KL, Tokyo, London. Vancouver, Houston, and of course LA.
Tokyo had the best Ramen and best dressed ppl.
Seattle had the best coffee (of course).
Shanghai has the best hotel in the world (grand hyatt)
NY had the best food all around.
But one thing I've noticed from partying all over the world is that no one can dance except in LA and SF. No idea why.

Hahahaha! It was so long ago. All I remember was that it was within walking distance to the Museum of Natural history there. I don't remember why I remember that, but it was close to the tube also. I'll try to look it up :P
In the US - I've been to Florida (the keys were a lot of fun), Texas, Alabama, the entire east coast from Maine down, Utah, Wyoming, and Vegas. In Wyoming, we went snowboarding in Jackson hole, that was awesome. At one point we we're at 10,000 feet above sea level, the same height I went skydiving from when I was in Key West. It's a great place to board. Next trip I wanna make is to Whistler in Canada.
Edt: Night life in Wyoming was fun, they all partied, but there's an obvious lack of females there. The guy girl ratio was like 4 to 1. Gotta have mad game to score there (and my apparently wasn't good enough <_< ) Guess they don't like guys that don't chew tobacco...
