how much time do u spend getting ready before going out? and how do u keep looking nice the entire evening?

i can spend anywhere from 4 minutes (shower included, yep i can rush my ass when needed) to an hour. i hate reapplying makeup so i wear minimal stuff so i can juss focus on minor touch ups and shine control. and if ima be out a while or dancing around i dont fuss much with my hair. no fun worrying about whether or not my 30 minute hair style is coming undone.[/quote]

Anywhere from 5 minutes to 15. Shower not included. I don't really have to do a lot. Just run brush through hair (it's never tangled), apply eyeshadow, lipstick, shine control, and moisturizing. The only reapplying I have to do is the occasional lipgloss. Several pounds of makeup isn't my thing. And hair products are gross.

i can take a really long time.

most of my time is spent in the shower--bout 1/2 hour. i take a long time washing my hair--and i don't even have long hair. i just like leaving the conditioner in for at least 5-10 minutes.

i don't really wear make-up, but i use this 8-step thing on my face. cleanser, toner, collagen, and i don't know what else. i spent $500 on it. it's supposed to make my skin nice so i don't ever have to spend money on foundation or powder again. it actually irritated my skin in the beginning, but now it's getter better. but yeh, that takes another 10 mins.

then i have to blow-dry my hair straight, b/c i have wavy hair. i'm thinking of getting the magic perm <-- which my friend swears is better than the straight perm. 10-15 mins.

i actually don't really know how to apply make-up. i know how to use mascara and stuff, but i would like how to look glamorous if i ever wanted to.

anyhow...i guess i do take a long time getting ready.

whoa kasia thats pretty hefty...$500?! i hope u got a lot for ur money...i complain about shelling out money for makeup no matter how cheap it is. good thing i hate applying it, so i dont wear much and therefore do not spend much. makeup=pain in the ass, pain in the pocket book.

it's worth it if you think about it, because each bottle of foundation costs about $40-$80, which can add up over the years. i want to try this facial package thing--where you go in once a week for 10 weeks. the whole package is $1000, though, which i definitely can't afford right now. but i'm all for nice results.

i don't really like make-up either, but i like doing my nails, trying out new haircuts, etc. i'd actually like it a lot more once i have a job. :?

i don't necessarily think it's a bad thing to spend time primping ourselves. i mean, guys do it too! (sometimes more than we may think!)

you know, i got wavy hair too and i feel its really thick. It's not fine. its all one length now.. its kinda long.. and its the weight of it all that always makes it look straight. yet, i remember when i was younger... i had decided to get a hair cut and a perm... and when the barber had cut my hair to different layers.. he didn't need to give me a perm... cuz my hair turned out to be naturally so curly and wavy in the first place...

me, i had always felt kinda jealous of other asian girls, with their fine, straight hair. like i wasnt asian enough or something... and it had got me questioning.. maybe i'm a mix.... i'm not purely korean.. but yeah, its kinda interesting to know another asian female with wavy hair...

an hour, shower, some hair wax and I'm out. total time half an hour.

I shave once a week and that takes like 20 minutes because I become a beast.

well it takes an hour but the process is actually half an hour. I usually sit and take a break between tasks to watch the news, feed my fish, and set the alarm clock for my gf.

Personally, I prefer women with long, straight black hair. But if you have the right features, even no hair can look great.

In my opinion, Joan Chen is one of the most beautiful women in the world. And in one of her Chinese-language movies, [i:fb4bddf711]Temptation of a Monk[/i:fb4bddf711], she shaves off all her hair and [i:fb4bddf711]still[/i:fb4bddf711] looks fantastically fetching. [i:fb4bddf711]Temptation of a Monk[/i:fb4bddf711] is an enjoyable movie, but it's worth seeing just for the head-shaving scene alone.

I also recently saw a fashion photo of Bai Ling taken not long after she finished shooting [i:fb4bddf711]Anna and the King[/i:fb4bddf711], in which she had to shave her head, too, and she looked lovely as well.

I think that the best facial assets for the Sinead O'Connor look are prominent cheekbones and a strong, well-defined chin.

So, ladies, I don't encourage you to shave your heads. Please, please, grow your hair long!!! But if you'd like to shave your head as a fashion statement, it can look good!!!

yeah guys are always telling me that: "dont cut ur hair! guys love long hair!" ive had long hair for most of my life and sometimes it juss gets to be a pain to deal with. harder to shampoo, brush, longer time to dry and style, and it always seems to be getting in the way. frustrating at times. but i know that if i were to get rid of all of it i would miss it after a while.
