I just thought tapestrybabe might be interested in this, and perhaps others might be interested as well
January 31 at Arc (formerly Vinyl),
Danny Tenaglia plays a 12-hour set, which I guess will probably be midnight til noon.
(He's also going to do another marathon set for President's Day on Feb 16)
Be Yourself is the longest-running Friday night event in NYC
18+
No dress code
No glowsticks or flashlights allowed (for some reason, DT doesn't like people using them - but you gotta see what he does with his flashlights! )
No alcohol served (but there is water, juice, energy drinks, and snacks), but there will be plenty of music lovers to pack the place
Prices are usually
$20 General Admission
$17 on guestlist before 4 am
Info for getting on the list can be found at

East Coast Clubbing Night whoooooo!
Haven't been to Arc yet but have been to Vinyl. Very nice vibe and casual, none of the attitude the other clubs have. Would be one of the better clubs to get a group together at.

Unless you're really old school (maybe that's why the Sunday early evening Body & Soul party left), I'm sure you'll like the changes that have been made to the place.
The sound system has been upgraded and is now Phazon's flagship system (that honor used to go to Twilo before it got shut down). Sound-proofing has been added to the walls.
The DJ booth is bigger, and there's a mirror above the DJ booth so you can see what the DJ is doing. It might be covered up on Fridays though. Maybe Danny just doesn't like people staring at it all night.
The back room has also been re-done, and sometimes on Saturdays there are separate DJ's playing there. The walls there also serve as an art gallery.
If you can get into the VIP room, there's now a large window that gives you full view of the main floor.
The best thing is the temperature control! There are no longer humungous fans, but the place doesn't get too hot anymore. So you'll probably see fewer shirtless wonders.

They might do another "anti-Valentine's" theme party this year - last time it was called "Be Yourself By Yourself"
That will be followed by the President's Day event two days later, for even more DT. That party will probably go into the afternoon hours.
In between those two events:
If you like German trance, check out Talla 2XLC on that Saturday
If you like deep happy house, check out the Love from NYC event on that Sunday early evening.
Anyone up for the Arc-athon that weekend?
