So perhaps Patrice Ann McDonough might be the next true hope for Asian-Am (the name doesn't suggest it, but do look out for her ) gold medal, at least in figure skating ?

I know about all this just from watching Lutz Chat. It's very entertaining even if (like me) you don't follow figure skating.
