I think this was a post already, but I looked all over food and travel and couldn't find it.
I went to the asian supermarket today to pick up some stuff and man I really hate it there. Parking is a mess, people will just turn into the lot, even though it's full and there's always a line extending into the street blocking traffic in both directions. If you happen to pull up next to someone who's pulling out they always take their sweet ass time.
Then you finally get inside and everyone is so damn pushy. This old asian dude, literally pushed his way through me with this crappy shopping cart cause I had no where to go. I was pinned between him and some old asian lady who just planted herself in the middle of the aisle to look at canned pigs feet or something. I wanted to deck someone. ARRGHHHH!!!!

no parking problem like that here in boring suburbia! and if the people inside were especially pushy, i haven't noticed.

Just feel blessed that you even have Asian markets. When I lived in Southern Missouri, we had to make everything ourselves. There we were, growing our own food in our backyard like farmers. We lived in ritzy suburbia. Our neighbors had tennis courts and pools, they definitely did not like our ghetto garden.
But I totally know what you're talking about. Old people are the worst man. They'll fight you over the last bok choi. And the parking sucks because the owners never think about it. It's like, "oh my store is the only one in the city, but I'll only provide enough room for 2 cars." I always get trapped. This was when I drove an SUV so I'd just drive over the curb to leave. ahahahaha. Mortal fools!

Not assi. That's for sure.
How about if you change it to which asian suprmarket has the hottest illegal foreign asian workers in it who are paid under the table more money than their legal hispanic counterparts?

I have to say that the aisles are extremely tight. Once you go in one direction you cannot turn around.

Man, the ones here in NY have some pretty hot asian girls too. Customers and Cashiers. But when they get all pushy and rude I start to not care how hot they are anymore, and that's when you know I'm aggravated.
I'm one of those people that's willing to forgive a woman her transgressions as long as she's hot (I'm a sucka) but there I still get mad. Grrrrrrr.

The Asian market I went to when I was a little kid had decapitated pig heads in the freezer section. These were big heads too! I don't remember being too grossed out but it was a fascinating (albeit not too pleasant in the odor dept.) experience.

What I think is really cool about asian supermarkets are the many tanks of live lobsters, catfish, tilapia, and crabs! Beat that, Krogers!

Oh, man! That's so funny, I'm 29 now, and I saw my first one 2 months ago. I was stunned! Why are the chickens black? I still don't get it....

I know which ones have the hottest guys though. Hawaii Supermarket in Alhambra (or maybe its in San Gabriel?) and Superwarehouse in El Monte. A lot of Chinese and Vietnamese there. But I hardly ever see any hot women. ;)
